This cut-your-own Christmas tree farm has quickly become one of my favorite locations for family mini sessions during the holidays. With Christmas music filling the air, we have a blast with a few holiday props and fake snow. Its hard to believe that these were all taken the same week as Halloween! Sherman Oaks Family Photography

This Sherman Oaks / Van Nuys park was my most requested location for the fall season. And for good reason. It has the absolute best light! So even when a toddler is being "a toddler," the magical light makes every photo so totally dreamy looking.

Los Angeles Family Photographer – O’Melveny Park

Spring is in the air! Wild sunflowers are out and as a Los Angeles family photographer, I seek these out for sessions. There is just something so dreamy about photographing in a field of flowers. Even if we are in the San Fernando Valley and the "field" is more like a big patch. Sherman Oaks Family Photographer – My Sister

When I was younger I had to share a bedroom with my sister, who is three years younger. As you can imagine, we fought over everything from clothes to her wanting to do everything I did. We would whack each other with the middle seat belt during car rides and tie each other to our bed posts at home (yes, this really happened). Now, we of course get along much better and our kids are cousin BFFs...and often fight just like their parents once did. For this Sherman Oaks family photography session, we met at my favorite hidden spot in the San Fernando Valley and captured the beautiful chaos of my sister's family amongst the pretty wildflowers during the golden hour.

Sherman Oaks Family Session – Mama with her Babies

Sometimes, there are certain clients that were just meant to be in my life. As a Sherman Oaks family photographer, I email all of my clients a questionnaire to fill out before their shoot so that I can custom tailor the experience just for them. One of the interests that this mama listed for her daughter was Breath of the Wild, one of the best Nintendo Switch games out there. And how do I know this? Well because this also happens to be what my son is currently obsessed with. I purchased this game back in March, right when the world was closing down from COVID-19 and this game is what entertained us and kept us sane. I kept this secret from the mama until our shoot and when I started talking everything Zelda to her daughter you should have seen her eyes lit up. So needless to say, we have a billion amazing pictures from this Sherman Oaks family photography shoot. Here is just a small sampling.

Los Angeles Family Photographer – Family of Six

As a Los Angeles family photographer, I have been photographing this family for years and they truly are one of my favorites. With four kids, nothing fazes them or stresses them out. They know the kids will be calling the shots and we will just be laughing together for the duration of their Los Angeles family photography shoot. The only rule is to always capture their stacked family photo at the very end.
