For this Los Angeles newborn baby photography session, the parents met me at a Sherman Oaks park. Their son's nursery is Totoro themed, after the popular 1980's Japanese animated film. Dad hand-painted all of its amazing characters all over the walls. So they wanted to incorporate its whimsy, woodsy characters and overall nature theme into their outdoor newborn portrait shoot. They brought along a stuffed toy from the film and I used a little Photoshop magic to recreate a famous scene from the movie. Between the first hint of Autumn colors at the park, and the fact that their little Prince slept the entire time, made for a gorgeous gallery of images.
