There is just something magical about seeing a newborn baby in nature. And this outdoor newborn photography session was a dream come true. Mom is a New York Times best-selling children's book author and flew me out to the Bay Area to photograph her brand new baby girl in a fairy tale garden setting in Palo Alto. Coming from the somewhat boring San Fernando Valley, I was in nature heaven! I could have photographed her for days and literally had to run to my airline gate with untied shoelaces so that I wouldn't miss my flight because I wanted "just one more photo". Just look at the daffodils!! I was humming the song "Golden Afternoon" from Disney's Alice in Wonderland the entire time.
